About Velferdstinget in Stavanger
The Welfare Council in Stavanger is the overall student political body in welfare matters for students affiliated with the Student Union in Stavanger.​ The Welfare Council in Stavanger represents all students associated with the Student Union in Stavanger (SiS). VT consists of student representatives from BI Stavanger, Noroff, VID scientific college, the art school in Stavanger and the University of Stavanger.
Our purpose is to work for the students' welfare, democratic, economic, cultural and social needs and rights. VT is responsible for working for your welfare rights as a student in Stavanger.
